I was thrilled to discover that the recipes for those amazing cakes and tarts from Le Canard are now in new hands. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake, and it tasted just like the one I adored from Le Canard-absolutely delicious and priced reasonably. At the Grieg Farm Farmer's Market in Red Hook, I met the baker and sampled his quiches and carrot cake, which were both incredible and perfect for breakfast; I can't wait to get more!
