My dad grew up 2 blocks from NL and started going there when they first opened 1927. He introduced me to their hot dogs when I was 6. Since then I've introduced my 3 children and 4 of my grandchildren and 1 son-in-law. Wow, 4 generations.

I love Newest Lunch and it's all about the people! The food is great but the company is even better. My little boy was a baby when I started bringing him into Newest once in a while for a meal or a snack. Now he is six and a half years old and when he has been a good boy at school he says, "Mom, can you take me to Newest? I didn't get in trouble at school all day!" The onion rings are delicious, the pizza is the best I've ever had, the servers go the extra mile to make folks feel welcome, all reasons why we order food from Newest every week.
