The view is lovely, and the waitstaff quite friendly. However, I had one of the worst meals of my life at the River Club. Perhaps it would be best to stick with a hamburger and fries, but that is only a guess. I had Cajun spiced rainbow trout with a basil roulade sauce. The fish itself was flavorless, and the sauce felt and tasted like canned tartar sauce. The broccoli appeared yellowed at the top as aged broccoli does, and the sticks of zucchini were dried out. The mashed potatoes were salty and heavy. My companion had a rack of lamb which was similarly short of mediocre. Both entrees were served at about room temperature. I don't think that we can be convinced to return, which is a shame.
