My wife and I eat out about every meal except birthdays, Thanksgiving, and
Christmas.
We ate at the New City BBQ this morning, Feb 8, 2011, at about
11:30. We hadn't eaten there in a long time.
Each of us ordered one of the specials which included meat, two vegetables,
bread, and drink.. The restaurant was clean and cozy.
Everything we had was fresh, hot and delicious.
We liked everything we had: chicken pie...green beans..mashed potatoes..
fried squash and northern beans.
Their selections of meats and vegetables are varied and anyone should
be able to find something they'd like to eat.
The service was good, too. We were checked on three or four times.
When our sweet iced tea began to get a little low, someone filled it.
Everyone is friendly and seems to like their jobs.
If you want home-style cooking, this is a great place to find it.
We'll certainly go back again.
