I had friends visit and we decided to go to the Truro Heights Big Stop for breakfast this morning. It was a complete disappointment. One of my friends asked for an omelet without mushrooms, she got an omelet with mushrooms, my other friend asked for an English muffin - no butter, she got an English muffin with butter. I had the traditional breakfast and was asked if I wanted my pan fries with onions. I said yes and there were onions just dumped on top of the potatoes in long strings not cut up and cooked with the potatoes. The entire meal was awful. It will be a long time before I go to this Big Stop again which is sad because it used to be very good.
