Eli's Bread on 1064 Madison Avenue is my go-to spot for picking up my favorite Health Loaf bread in a jiffy. While it can be a bit on the pricier side, the loaves are massive, and they also offer a diverse range of other bread and pastries. The store is always well-stocked and clean, but I don't really feel that warm and fuzzy vibe from the counter staff - I usually just grab what I need and head out. The store layout is a bit cramped, stretching long and narrow from front to back, so I personally prefer their uptown location for a more comfortable experience.
