While in mid town Manhattan, I looked and looked for a good piece of pizza trying out eateries for blocks on end. Angelo's on broadway wasn't bad but so far...the PIZZA BOX wears the CROWN. This is a tiny eat in or to-go Pizzareria and it is FANTASTIC!! While others have changed up what a REAL SLICE OF A ITALIAN PIZZA SHOULD BE AND ALWAYS WAS - this little place kept its heart and soul and serves authentic giant lip smacking slices of pizza. When I went there, there was an older man who spoke italian heaving giant pies in and out of the oven and his assistant was handtossing the dough. Relish this little gem and order a whole cheese pie. The price is right! Not fancy despite its address. Just good old fashioned NY (reminiscent of the old days in Brooklyn) Pizza!!
