I was thrilled to find Joon serving up delicious Persian dishes at the Queens International Night Market. Their rice cups with stew and cucumber dill yogurt for just 6 dollars were a taste of home, but the texture of the crispy rice could've been better. Despite that, the Pomegranate Walnut Chicken and Turmeric Beef and Eggplant were flavorful and aromatic, almost as good as my mom's cooking. The long line at their stall proved that people appreciate good food, and I couldn't help but enjoy my meal on the go from July, not Joon, with their crispy rice options and upgrade packages.
