11/20/2024 - Jasmine A.
In the early 2000s, I first discovered Chirping Chicken back when they had a spot in Astoria. It was quite a novelty to see whole chickens cooking on a massive grill, especially for someone like me from the area. The food was absolutely delicious in the beginning. Fast forward to around 2013, my colleagues and I started ordering from them regularly for lunch, although the quality of the food seemed to fluctuate. Recently, we revisited Chirping Chicken and ordered from their Upper East Side location, where they now offer a wider menu including seafood options. The flame-broiled chicken remains a standout, and their efficient service and generous portions make it a great value for a quick bite in the city.
