Located on the shores of Lake Erie, this establishment under new ownership by Roger and Paula has undergone significant improvements. The ambiance, food quality, service, and live music offerings make it a standout choice for a memorable dining experience by the lake.

The absolute worst service we have ever experienced anywhere. Arrived between meal times at 3:30 pm, so NOT even busy yet. Waitress almost non existent, food arrived 50 MINUTES after ordering (fish, fries, and a burger- not a gourmet meal) and was horrible. Fish tasted like it was prepared 2 days earlier, heated in a microwave, and then left sitting on a plate for a half hour. Coleslaw was very warm. Fries soggy and cold. Burger absoluty horrible- how can you even mess up a burger???!!Drinks replenished ONE time during almost 2 hours we were there. Asked check twice before receiving it.. another 20 minute wait before we could even leave.
Been here several times in past- and enjoyed ourselves, even though service has always been slower than most places with not enough staff. Unfortunately, we will probably never go back.

Wonderful place! Owner Dave is friendly & welcoming. Lake Erie perch was perfectly cooked. Ice cream w/pecans & fudge was decadent!

My wife and I have been going to the Driftwood every month or so for about three years. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the lake, hear some fine local musicians, and eat well for a reasonable price. The owners Dave and Lois run the place, and there are ways she were to make you feel comfortable. The wait staff is younger people who work hard to get your order right and to get it to you promptly. It's always friendly crowd, and we love to meet our friends there or meet new people. Can't recommend it highly enough.
