• Same recipe as was served in the U.S. Senate for 18¢ in 1977. We've been selling this wonderful homemade soup at this price since 1977. The senate cafeteria has raised their price, but we all know Washington can't control costs. An appetizer, sandwich or entree is required to get an .18 bean soup.

This establishment holds a special place in my heart, despite the unfortunate incident that destroyed its original structure. During my college years, this was a frequent haunt of mine, and I must admit that its current iteration surpasses my memories of the past. The attentive servers have managed to eliminate the long waiting times, allowing for a more enjoyable experience with friends, especially during our recent gathering with old high school buddies. The Liquid Satan cocktail is a tantalizing choice, though its potency can catch you off guard, adding to the excitement of the evening.
