The music at the restaurant was blasting, but luckily it was a slow Monday night. It took a while to flag down the server for a drink, and I had to ask for chips and salsa. The chips were plain with no salt, and the salsa was too watery with just a hint of cilantro and tomato. Despite the slow service, the bistec mexicana and tortillas were excellent, earning the meal a solid four stars in my book. The atmosphere was buzzing with Hispanic patrons, and I felt like the lone gringo in the crowd. It's definitely a spot worth returning to for the authentic Mexican flavors and friendly staff.
