The quality and taste of both the ice cream and chocolate has gone down steadily in recent years, accompanied by prices rising at a faster rate than most of their competition. I use to look forward to visiting DIetsch's when I visited Findlay, but not so much any more.
Some of their ice cream flavors have remained good (black cherry for example) while others (butter pecan) do not come close to what they once were. These days, I much prefer Toft's ice cream.

This ice cream and candy shop in the Midwest is truly exceptional, with a long history of serving delicious treats and welcoming visitors from near and far. The quality of the ice cream and chocolates is unmatched, making it a must-stop destination for anyone passing through the area.
