Haven't been there in about 10 years. Last time we went we had to sit in bar area. The meal had began to be
too pricey for us. The steaks were always good, but not as good as when Jason Hightower cooked them. We
discovered Red Onion Grill and went there for steaks until they closed. Now we make our own.
The people at Sanford's were nice tho.

They have the best steaks ever!!! OMG I've never had anything like it and I've been all over the world. This is the best kept secret ever!!!! Nobody told me about this place, just stumbled on it. I had the filet and OMG I'll never have another one any where else. The thought of what I had makes my mouth water! It was simply divine!!! So tender and the seasoning was out of this world. Now why can't anyone else do this???? I don't get it, this is what a filet should always be!!!

We were pretty wasted while we were there, but to the best of my memory it was a great place. I am sad though that the off track betting is gone, so we will probably have to pick a different destination.

Several years ago Sanford's was THE place to go have a great meal. Well, not any more. Last weekend we were at Lake Texoma and decided we wanted to have a good meal and went to Sanford's. There were several cars parked there so we figured they were quite busy--but to our surprise we were the only people there at 6:00pm. My husband ordered a steak (overpriced I might add) and I ordered catfish. When we received our meals, the steak was cold and full of grissel and the catfish was full of dark meat and my potato was only half cooked. This was our anniversary dinner-----YUCK!!! This was one of the worst, if not THE worst meal I have ever been served in a restaurant. We have told everyone we know about our experience and they as well as us, will NEVER go there again. SOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!
