I am in the restaurant business and Bella Vita is the best restaurant for Italian food I have ever eaten at!

Decor was very nice, the service was ok, but the food was very poor.
The bread basket was served cold.
We ordered 4 meals, 3 were bad, not good numbers!
My wife's pasta dish had absolutely no taste, I don't know how you could make something that bland.
Another dish, some sort of seafood pasta, was way too spicy,
My daughters manicotti was served luke warm, with cold grated mozzarella cheese on top.
Why would you not melt the cheese, that's basic stuff!
My chicken marsala, was ok, not great.
It's sad because it could be a very good place, with the right chef.
We won't be back.

Have visited Bella Vita on several occasions. Has been good in the past. Tonight, celebrating our daughters last night home before college - the food was terrible, it was cold and unflavorful. The waiter was horrible. Saw him maybe 3 times throughtout the evening. I spoke with the owner about our experience - he blamed it on "we got slammed tonight." This is VERY poor business, no apology, not anything. And for a party of 10 it made me sick to have to pay a $40 gratuity for horrible service. The owner was unphased and offered nothing. We will NEVER return to Bella Vita and will be sure to share with all our friend and family to not go either.
