Went on a motorcycle Ride & Dine with my wife and sons. We had never been in Bennington and never dined at Schettlers. It also happen to be Thursday which is fried chicken special day. And the fried chicken was special indeed. The place is humble, the service is friendly, the food is great.

Been here 4 times now, first time had their Saturday special of Prime Rib. It was delicious! Very flavorful, came with a lot of food for less than $14! Then went and had their all you can eat fried chicken on Thursday nights for less than $9 and their chicken was crunchy and juicy and again with PLENTY of food. I love the small town feel, great prices and AMAZING FOOD! Just try it once and I bet you'll get hooked like I did!

We've only eaten here three times, but the food has been excellent each time. Their fried chicken is absolutely fantastic. They have all you can eat on Thursday night. There is a different special each night. We tried the Mexican one night and I wasn't thrilled but my dinner partner thought it was great. Definitely worth the trip.
