After much anticipation, I finally tried Ottawa Perogies, which specializes in Eastern European snacks. The food brought back memories of my Slavic friends' home cooking, with comforting flavors that reminded me of my childhood. Although I found the prices a bit steep, the fresh, homemade quality of the perogies and other offerings made it a worthwhile experience, and the service was friendly and accommodating.
