Totally unimpressed , food cold and took forever. Had to flag the bartender down quite a few times to get a drink. I think we'll skip this place from now on.
Also the had a lot of overly intoxicated people.

Came here with my sisters for something different. Very disappointing. Service very slow bartender I think her name is Elli, was very rude. We left and with no tip. This place sucks!

Was out for a bike ride with some friends. The food was so so. But the waitstaff must of all went out for a cig. I don't recommend this place. Field house down the road it much better

This was our firt time coming to Backwoods. We were very pleased with our service and food that we had. The waitress came back several times to check on us. We will return again when we are in the area.

If you're a die hard hick, this is the place for you. The food was so so. The service was awful. There are better places with better food! Will not be going back! Also a lot of over intoxicated people

Disgusting place, food cold. Bartender more interested in tending to the men than the paying customers. Sucks sucks sucks!!

Food and service was excellent. The dining room needs to be attended to. Very dirty tables, walls and floor. Please do some clean up and we will be back. Thanks.

I love going to this place. The food is usually always excellent & the service is usually great. On occasion there has been a night when things are not up to the usual standards, but this doesn't happen very often & I think it happens with all establishments. They make us feel at home, just like a "Cheers" bar. We have held banquets there & the price, food & service is always great. Keep up the good work!

Had a steak which came out Hot , very tender and juicy. The service was Excellent! I believe the servers name was Jessica...Very sweet girl and she did a wonderful job. Checked on us just enough to make sure we had what we needed to make this dining experience one worth coming back for. Thanks Jessica!

Only gave it 2 stars because the food had been good, except for the last steak I had was grizzly. But last night we waited for a waitress, until we just got up and left. The place was not busy, only 4 tables eating and 2 had their food. As we were getting up one of the waitress came in from outside having a cigarette break and ran & grabbed the coffee pot and went to the table behind us, but never said a word to us. Think it will be a while until we go back.......service was very poor, and what a shame cause the food is good.

I went in the other night with my wife. sat a table for twenty minutes, walk up to the bar this nice bartender got me a pitcher and two glass's. I asked her if their is anyone to wait on our table. She said her name is mary said I will get someone to take care of you. when she made them aware that no one was taking care of us.This bartender and I got attitude from the server.Good luck to mary. thank you dear

This place is disgusting, food was cold and tasted like leftovers. My baked potato was brown on the inside and came out after my steak dinner. It took awhile for it to get hot in the microwave, I am sure!
My friend did not receive her Cole slaw and waitress did not come back to check and when she told her there was no apology or compensation offered.
The owner walks around in shorts and a dirty apron greeting the customers. He acted like they were his best friend to their face and then talked about them to other customers when they left!
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DUMP!

We just had a retirement party for my mother and over thirty guests in their banquet room. The whole time planning the event, Jack, the manager was receptive to our needs and budget. We had a great variety of menu and drink selections from which to choose. The evening was great! Everything went as planned. We showed up and the banquet room was clean, fully air conditioned, and beautifully arranged. All my brothers and I (OK, wives too) had to do was add some of our own decorations, enjoy the evening, pay the bill, and go home! Our guests enjoyed great service and food as well. Many commented on how nice it was. We ate surf and turf for chicken and pork prices. Backwoods Bar and Grill is a diamond in the rough. You owe it to yourself to dine there and scope it out for larger social events.
