Like most restaurants they started out good but then they turned into crap. My girlfriend ordered the lobster bisque at $7 a cup. No problem except when I challenged the waitress to find a piece of lobster in the lobster bisque she couldn't because there wasn't any. I told her this was nothing more than a" CJ's doesn't give a S#!T bland pink colored cream soup." Then I promptly changed my order for the seafood risotto to a half rack of ribs, because if they aren't going to put any lobster in the lobster bisque I'm not paying $27 for a plate of risotto. In comes the owner gritting his teeth and all ticked off. First off don't come up to me ticked off while your screwing everyone out of $7 for bland corn starch and water with some red food dye and seafood stock. Then he said "there is lobster in the lobster bisque its just ground up fine." I informed him that isn't lobster bisque. Here's a recipe for the moron that doesn't care about his restaurants survival. http://allrecipes.com/re… No recipe for lobster bisque contains less than 1/5 of a lb of lobster per serving and at that it isn't supposed to be finely ground into dust flakes smaller than pepper. He then informed me that my seafood risotto was finished. I told him" I assume there isn't any lobster in that either, much like the bisque" he then said "there are about 5 tiny knuckle sized pieces" Here's a recipe for lobster risotto moron.

What else did you add to it 1/2 of a scallop and a finely ground tsp of crab meat?

He thinks I'm paying $27 for five tiny knuckle sized pieces of lobster and pasta? Really? I told him that's exactly why I don't want it, there is no point in bringing it out to me if your serving me.. his words "5 tiny knuckle" sized pieces of lobster. I got the half rack of ribs which were good, maybe his spit added some flavor? Then we saw the couple next to us get a cup of lobster bisque WITHOUT the parsley on top, she was concerned that they just served them ours! I don't know either way but his attitude says he ready for failure and I wouldn't be surprised. I filled out the comment card gave all 5 and 4s and added that lobster bisque actually has lobster in it and on the back said " Friendly suggestion: Don't be Cheap nor a D!c%. "

Someone is going to be very happy within a year when they rent that restaurant space out, he did a great job renovating it.

The restaurant business isn't easy when you want to be near the upper-mid + end of the scale, if you can't do it right don't waste your time.

For good food in the area go to University Grille or Orchards or the copper kettle if you don't mind the drive.
