Great place to eat. Generous portions, good prices. Small, would make reservations, especially on weekends. Most people leave with "doggie bags." Hosts and staff are very friendly. Often take friends there. Had people in from New Mexico, took 14 people there and everyone loved it.

I was introduced to this restaurant by my sister, and have now referred many friends, Food is amazing so is the service, Owners are always gracious hosts!!!! We barely get past the appetizers (large portions), but always order desert to take home!!!!

Great food, the best restaurant in the area. Friendly staff and prompt service. We only discovered the The Fireline Hotel about 9 months ago but it has quickly become our favorite restaurant. Lots of choices on the menu no matter what you are hungry for and the owners are always willing to meet special requests if they have the ingredients.

How does a restaurant get people to come back? Via featuring high fat, high salt, high sodium in a variety of choices on the menu. The Fireline specializes in the above. Who could blame them? Repeat customers are desired. And the Fireline shells out the high quality mis-ingredients. I have no objection to having a menu presented that is a heart-attack on a plate, stroke-city, or the pathway to diabetes. Just not my choice. But, when I encounter a menu with no Good-For-Me entrees I am in a quandary. I thought I could get away with a large salad and the addition of cold/steamed shrimp. This was early September and what I got was a plate heaped with the tasteless tough core of iceberg lettuce [pale pale green], hard chunks of winter tomatoes, shreds of mozzarella cheese and 7 overcooked [thus very chewy] flavorless shrimp [$6 for 7 shrimp taken from the shrimp cocktail cooler]. My companion ordered nachos, was happy with the six or so of those eaten. There was a table with four near us, no one else in the dining room at that time. The owner wandered in, apparently scoped out what their tab would be and brought in samples of fried mozzarella and later a plate of samples from the dessert menu. The tab at our table was clearly not worth a single sample. NOTE to owner: don't do that. Do not make folks at one table feel "special" and the folks at the other table feel like peasants. You learn this stuff in kindergarden. Be nice, be polite. Learn how to do a great salad. Treat your shrimp better as you cannot count on the shrimp being doused in cocktail sauce thereby disguising the lack of flavor and the overcooking. Oh, and get some healthy items on the menu. Salad - especially touch pale iceberg - is boring.

We have had a vacation home in Jim Thorpe for over four years and have only recently discovered this place. Since then we have eaten here at least 10 times and have recommended it to all our friends. The food, friendly staff and atmosphere are amazing.

Best food around here. Wonderful owner and wait staff. It was especially nice around St. Patty's Day. Best to have reservations if you're bringing a crowd.

NEED RESERVATIONS! Always busy with reason-nice menu, excellent serving staff, steaks are tender & delicious, Italian dishes, soups, salmon, chicken dinners are all delicious. Desserts are special also. I have eaten there 3 times in 2 weeks and have not had one thing to complain about-all the meals were excellent & service prompt. Everything made on order, nothing done a head of time with much to choose from. You will not be disappointed. Great atmosphere too.
