Stopped in here with a Friend in Mid Afternoon,.. Had a Couple Drafts and Bar Appetizers with a Lady Friend... Waitress was pleasant and Attentive. Draft beer was Cold, and Appetizers were piping Hot. . I am a Published Author and Only new to the Area 3 months... Of All the Places I have been in from Berwick, to Forty Fort, ( along Highway 11 ) this little Place was not only Rustic n Nice, but had a Great Feel to it with CLEAN RESTROOMS...
Notedly, I will be back for Dinner. I do Wish they ran a Lunch Menu from 10-3,.. I would love to try Lunch service before bringing in Friends to Dinner.. Dont always enjoy sitting at a roudy Bar.. with Locals , that may enjoy a Fun Bar Atmosphere.. Sometimes a Man wants to sit in a Quiet Dining room and Enjoy a Good Meal... I did notice No Male Waiters,.. Not sure why, but IT would change the attitude of Tourists if There were men on the Wait Staff.
Thanks for a Good Experience.. Again,.. Will be back.

I just ordered a chicken tender dinner. I come home and there are no fires? How can you shut the lid and not see fries? Now my food will be cold because I have to run back over to your restaurant to get fries. Open up your eyes and get it right next time! This is ridiculous, especially when I paid for them!

THE worst lobster I have ever "tried" to eat. Over cooked, rubbery, and tasteless. It was supposed to be a 1 1/2 lb live lobster. I got a total of 4 bites from the tail. Yes, I ate it. For that price, I couldn't bear to waste it!!

Had a terrible experience with this place. If you are not a regular of this establishment you clearly have NO rights. As a woman I was made to feel very uncomfortable by two regulars sitting at the bar while walking back to my table. It became so uncomfortable that a verbal altercation broke out between these "regulars" and the guys I was with. It was broken up and things started to calm. We had dinner and tried to relax. This individual who started things would not stop for hours. After approaching my boyfriend who was at the juke box things turned ugly fast and this guy started a physical fight with my boyfriend and his friend. It was broken up and the bartenders said we had to pay our tab and get out. I asked if the guy who started the fight was being thrown out as well and she said yes. After paying our tab the bartender told us to "take a few months off" from coming back the restaurant and the other bartender proceeded to get the drunken "regular" a beer while he sat back down. There was another couple who was next to us who asked if I was ok before leaving, I responded no. The wife stated that the same guy made her feel uncomfortable and her and her husband had been trying to ignore him. Moral of the story - if you're not a daily "regular" of this establishment and you defend your wife or girlfriend from a drunken "regular" - you will be thrown out and asked to not return for some time. I am BLOWN AWAY by how this situation was handled by the staff of Bankos and don't feel comfortable enough as a female to EVER go back.

I was a very pleased customer who agrew up on the Chesepeake Bay and often stated that Bank's was the only place in Northern Pennsylvania that compared to Maryland Style Crag Cakes. My statements were that they were very good, they were huge and they were very resonable. I not only ate in the restaurant but frerquently buy them raw to bring home to cook because it was hard to get served in the dinning room and at times took way to long but that is not my complaint. I saw the price of the raw cakes go from $8.95 to $9.95 and no complaint and ultimately to $12.50 each now and you know what still not the complaint. The complaint is that the price went up over 39% in what I consider a short time and the 4 raw crab cakes I recently bought were no where near the size they used to be. When the girl handed me the container which was a smaller container then I used to get 4 in the weight made me open and check because I only thought there were two in there based on how they felt before. I was shoked to see that there were 4 small crab cakes in the container. When I got home and my wife opened the container she asked where I got them and when I told her Banko's she said you did not. When I told her how much they were she said don't buy them anymore it is not worth it which we have chosen to do. So the point is you have last a dedicated customer who promoted your business for you not just because of price but you have also changed the quality.

1st time there, and it certainly won't be the last.
The cajun crayfish appetizer was delicious, and the snow crab legs were some of the best we have ever had.
Everyone was friendly, we had great service, and we loved the comfortable atmosphere.

Just had dinner for our 29th anniversary. We were seated in a timely manner. With in 20 mins. of being seated we were being served our meals. We both had the crab cake dinner. Tony had the french fries and I got the baked potato. French fries weren't crispy BUT they were cooked all the way through and tasted good. The waitress kept checking on us to make sure of our needs. Talk about the best crab cakes in the world! YUMMMM!!! We will be back!

The Tuesday night steak night was much better when you offered a salad, baked potato and garlic bread. The vegetables now are mushy and it is just not as good a combination.

My first time here ! Everything was amazing . I had the crab bisque and I'll say this I haven't had so good since st. Augustine . Amazing !! Atmosphere was wonderful, my glass was never empty and the lump crab meat dinner was so filling I couldn't finish. Cole slaw has to be the best around.

Just came home from dinner. We were seated right away upstairs in new section with no heat and no back on the seat. Ordered 2 doz clams which were not even washed. They were so sandy disgusting and four never opened. My husbands soup was good. Then our meal the fish was so dry could not eat it and steak was to be med well. It came out burnt and not a drop of juice in it. Baked potatoe was hard and the cole slaw was very dry and so fine it had no taste. Very disappointed as have been there several times b4 and was very pleased but will not go back. Waitress never came to see if we needed a refill on drinks and took 15 min. To bring our check. I apologize to the people I recommended this place to previously.

Best place around! If you've ever been a waitress/waiter you know the stress of being busy and the never stop running!! Kudos to them, and the one manager they have for the entire bar and restaurant! The food is incredible and portions are plenty, I have never had a bad experience here and I recommend this restaurant all the time! And if you haven't tried the new boat addition, I recommend dining in the Miss Arlene next time you visit, it's by far the coolest around.

Was there on wed night. Waitress was so bad she could not answer any of our questions. She would yell to another waitress to answer our questions. I asked if the stone crabs were fresh and was told yes fresh never frozen. They came out hot supposed to be served chilled and we were served nothing to open them with. When the waitress finally came back she told me it is crab night and I would have to wait until some of the openers were brought back to kitchen. Finally got to open one it literally smell like bleach I do mean like I had a cup of bleach set in front of me. How can a seafood kitchen not know the crabs were bad. This was totally so disgusting. We cancelled our entrees and rAn for the door

11-12-13 my family went there last night for the all you can eat lobster,we did not have to wait. .but as we got half way into our meal I was thinking this food tastes funny, smelled the lobster and it was spoiled . Gave us half off the meal.but 3 out of the 4 were sick.beware of the lobster.also 2 other tables complained.we were supposed to get a call from the manager today but no call!!!!

We got there at 7 0 clock . We had to wait 15 minutes for our table . Another 10 minutes to place our order . Another 20 minutes to get our appetizers . REALLY ! Another 10 minutes for our meal . But the food was really good ! And they didn't skimp on the fish , I got a HUGE portion ! We were done eating at 8:15 . We had to wait another 15 for the waitress to ask us if we wanted a carton , to take our leftovers home . ANOTHER 15 minute wait for that ! I was pleased with the food , but not the service !

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a JOKE! We were told to check this place out but go early because it gets really crowded. We were "lucky" and were seated without a wait at 5:20PM, our appetizers took 90 minutes to come out, peel and eat shrimp - 90 minutes seroiusly??? Food took another hour, no bread basket no salad , no nothing!!! No food at all! Finally our food comes we ask to see the manager. This was the final straw, this young girl"manager" could care less, actually said "well on most fridays, you will wait at least an hour just to be seated" Really? What was the hold up on our food? How about comping us something - not a thing, smiled and laughed like oh well to bad!!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY FOR THE WORST SERVICE AND FOOD EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE from beginning to end. Long wait with empty tables visible... Completely understaffed... (Shame on the management...) A loud and smokey bar... Continuously slamming bathroom doors... And God-awful food... Clams were really chewy (5 never opened... Ugh!) and rock shrimp that were so tough they tasted like little rubber balls. The cake-taker was NO soap in a busy bathroom. Totally disgusting. We arrived at 5:30 and didn't ESCAPE until well after 8. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
