Rizzi's in Peoria serves delicious old school Italian cuisine with a super friendly and helpful staff. As a frequent business traveler to the area, this restaurant has become a staple in my dining rotation. The family-owned establishment offers authentic specialties and craft cocktails in a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing meal or a family get-together.

We had a guest for dinner and I wanted to treat him to his favorite italian dish, eggplant parmesan. I planned on making it and ended up working late, so we called Rizzis gmfor carryout, as it is one of the only italian restaurants left in peoria. My husband had carbonara, which was so dry, I had to doctor it, I had chicken rizzi, which was absolutely tasteless, and the guest's eggplant parmesan was...well fast food. Not breaded ond deepfried. Served on a pile of sauce and spaghetti! I was so embarrassed when our guest said he'd never seen it like that before. 60 dollars. Not going there again.
