The diner is a cozy spot with friendly staff and tasty food, perfect for a casual breakfast. It may not be fancy, but the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is prompt. Remember to bring cash as credit cards are not accepted, and be sure to try the delicious eggs Benedict.
11/12/2021 - Good Food Lousy Service
I've been to Stubby's several times the last couple of months. Unfortunately the service has gone down hill. When I was there 2 people walked out and the guy cooking told the women waitress not to dwell on it. I myself had asked for a refresh of coffee at least a half a dozen times. No coffee. The person beside me said you know this person is still waiting for his coffee, and was welcomed with a smart a$$ comment. He was the second person to leave that day, in under 30 minutes.
I understand help is hard to come by but this waitress should know how to prioritize her tickets and at least pretend to be nice. There's a right way and a wrong way to treat someone and if this keeps up I suspect folks will find somewhere else to have breakfast.
