Place used to be good every time I go there now the bread is stale they freeze it then unfreeze it microwave it and give it to you not the same since new owner cares more about making the place look pretty

Best Tuna sandwich I have ever had since I was a kid!!!

Customer allowed in without wearing mask.
Counter not cleaned after customer left, there were 4 people ahead of me never cleaned.
Will not go back, not conforming to simple health rules.
Careful, person collecting money is also may be making your sandwich.
So sad, 5 people working there no excuse. Health department must be aware of these possible health concerns.
Good sandwiches but not worth the risk.

Great Italian sub🎉
The bread makes the sandwich most of the time. Just saying.

Best subs around!

Best all-around sandwich shop anywhere. They are pleased to accomodate any special requests. Meats that do not HAVE to be deli style (like Roast beef and Turkey) are cooked fresh and sliced there into sandwich-sized portions for the day, BETTER THAN THE MOST FAMOUS DELI STUFF. The Roast Beef has 4 times the meat you get at Subway, and it's more flavorful and you can tell it's fresh. Great tuna salad, and tho I NEVER order or eat chicken salad, their so good with everything else I took a chance and tried it. DELICIOUS. The bread of their sub rolls is also REALLY excellent, not el cheapo tasteless flour and water like some places, and much more tasty than Subway's breads. Intelligently done to please customers, which is why they are a success for 50 years -- cuz they deserve it. I'm using subway for comparison because i've been a Subway customer for DECADES and now I'm a Riccotti's fan with no hesitation. If you want chips, 50c for a bag, they don't take advantage of your "chip desire" by charging 75c or 1.00 like some places. Also, they have small, med, and large sizes for every sub. That's 7", 10", and 14 1/2" long. And they FILL 'em with plenty. Their medium is 2" shorter than the 12" large at subway, but I"d guess it weighs 25-50% more, and has at least twice the meat, even after subway adds "extra meat" which they charge extra for -- STILL a lot less meat than Ricotti's. And . . . subway starts out about the same or higher than Ricotti's med size. I often make 2 meals from a med sub, and 3 from a large -- except when I'm truly famished. Then I might even finish an entire med tuna sub, or roast beef, or steak. Or . . . I might order a large, have 'em cut off 1/3 of it to take home, and scarf down 2/3 of it there.

Also, I actually calculated this one out: You do NOT get a bonus of any significance when you order larger sized subs. Divide the price by the length and it's almost identical for all 3 sizes. So if you aren't famished and just want a small sub "snack"(it's not small!! it's 7" loaded to the brim) you don't pay more for being a small customer. IE, they do not give people an incentive to buy more than they might really want because it costs relatively a bit less. They're just straight arrows down the line and this may not seem like much, but it was consistent with everything else they do, and helped convince me that their unbreakable principle for success is to treat the customer with quality and honesty and they will beat a path to your door. Apparently that's why they are still going strong after 50 years. They do things right, all the way down the line, and . . . SURPRISE!! . . . it really works.
