We called ahead on Saturday night for 5 people at 6:00 p.m. When we arrived the hostess said we would be seated next. After we watched 4 groups seated, I went back to the hostess and asked why we hadn't been seated. She said since there were 5 of us, she really didn't know when we would be seated. At 6:30 my husband asked her if she had any idea how long it would be. She said she thought about 10 minutes, but it was obvious she really didn't know. At that time my brother went next door to O'Charley's, they seated us immediately and we had a really nice meal. We were all looking so forward to trying Johnny Carino's. If 5 people are going to create a problem, they should have told us when we called in for the call ahead seating. In addition, when we arrived, the hostess should not have told us we were the next group to be seated. I just think they could have handled the situation much better.
