I visit hat creek twice each year and never miss the chance to enjoy breakfast and lunch at JJ's . . .
great people, great food, reasonable prices . . .
and they allow my big dog tag to sit with me on the patio . . .
if you are ever in the area, eating at JJs is an experience you shouldn't miss . . .

two of my daughters, and my grand-daughter surprised me on my birthday last may with a trip to hat creek . . .
I first started fishing there with MY father many years ago and have since returned with kids and now grandkids . . .
last year, we discovered JJ's café . . . the food was outstanding, the service friendly . . .
I will be returning to hat creek this next week, with my dog tag . . .
and we will definitely make a stop at JJ's . . . as others have said, it's so nice to find a place like this "in the middle of nowhere"
making it all the more special is that my grand-daughter, Juliana, carries a nickname of JJ . . . and yes, we did take photos of her with the sign last year !!!
as far as hat creek, although a lot of time has passed, I can still find some favorite spots to toss a fly or a lure . . . the runoff was a little high last may but I imagine this time it will be considerably lower and many of my favorite spots will be quite fishable . . .

Outstanding. Was a highlight of our Lassen experience.
