On a whim during a hot day, I stopped at Abbott's, where I enjoyed a rich and creamy vanilla custard served promptly, and despite my usual aversion to sundaes, I find myself craving their chocolate almond custard with sprinkles, which perfectly satisfies my chocolate cravings, especially when paired with fries from Bill Gray's, and I appreciate the ample outdoor seating and the extended summer hours until 10pm.

I randomly stopped by this Abbott's location on a hot day and was pleasantly surprised to find no wait despite the busy parking lot. The vanilla custard I tried was served quickly and was incredibly rich and creamy, hitting the spot perfectly. I can't get enough of their Chocolate Almond flavor with chocolate sprinkles - it's not overpoweringly chocolaty but always satisfies my cravings. Plus, the option to enjoy fries from Bill Gray's alongside the custard makes for the best combo, and the ample outdoor and indoor seating is a nice touch. Also, a little tip: they seem to stay open until 10pm in the summer, even though their online hours show 9pm. Abbott's custard truly stands out in the region, and for me, the go-to choice is their delicious Vanilla Custard.
