I really love African American menu of soul food. We have integrated other foods and culture into our lives. I am hoping that in yhe future Fixins will expand into a afro-cultural menu.
I brought my daughter who is a excellent cook and a great pallet, she agrees Fixens need to expand.
My only disagreement is-lemonade too sweet, black eye peas to much sauce the flavor should be pepers and onions and garlic with that pork seasoning. Just my opinion!!!
Fixens had great catfish, shrimp and grits, mac and cheese ha!ha!

Omg, we've lived here for almost 3 years. Didn't know the restaurant existed until a golf buddy enlightened us. We're so happy that he did. We had the chicken and waffles. Also ordered a side of peach cobbler to go, for later. The waffle was the perfect thickness and the special butter compliments it perfectly. The chicken was piping hot and seasoning was on point. This is our new spot. I will go as often as possible until I tried everything on the menu. 😂😂😂
