This store is known as the luckiest spot for lottery tickets in Sacramento, with a high rate of winners, a friendly and efficient staff, a variety of fine liquors, and delicious deli sandwiches that are definitely worth a try.

You might not know, or you might not notice that Lichine's has a sandwich counter on one side of the store, and their sandwiches are very fresh and tasty. No long lines, but it does help (you as well as the "sandwich lady") if you pre-order on the phone so that your sandwich is ready when you get there, and they can spend their time making sandwiches for the other walk-in customers.
