Dense!

Sad to say but our final experience with Blue Strawberry was very disappointing. My wife and I "discovered" BS in the fall and enjoyed our initial evening there. The second visit was also very enjoyable. As a result we were looking forward to our Valentine's night out at BS. The night turned into a huge mess, however. Upon arrival at 6:30 we were told that pre-paid dinner was being delayed because of a Covid-related staffing shortage. This was understandable and we appreciated being told about the problem upfront. However, we still had not had our order taken by 7:45. After flagging down a waitress we placed our order. Again, we had to flag down our waitress to get our first course served; this was at 8:30. By 10:00 no other courses had been delivered. There were several other tables in the same situation as us. The manager came by and said that the remainder of our dinner would not be served and offered to refund (on our credit card) the full cost of the dinner. We thought this was fair and said ok. It is March 6th as I write this, however, and we still haven't received the promised refund. Numerous calls to BS have never been returned. I suspect we were cheated out of a meal. Needless to say we won't ever return. We spent the end of our Valentine's evening in a Sonic parking lot enjoying a great Sonic burger.
