How sad! I've eaten Prairie Grain Bread for years--what the heck happened! That special, unique flavor was amazing. That taste is, well, adios, baby. I've moved on to Harmons' multi-grain bread, not much else out there.

Used to be best bread. Now, under new ownership, is crummy.

Not the same bread nor the same wholesome ingredients. Don’t bother!

I agree, this used to be the best bread on the planet! Now, it's just like every other crap bread. If I could give it ZERO stars I would! It used to be a thick, dense bread, like home made!I guess it's back to Great Harvest, which is not as convenient as buying bread at the grocery store.

This used to be the best bread on the planet! A few months ago, Dunford Bakers, which is now owned by Franz brad company, bought out Prairie Grain and changed the recipe to the terrible thing it is now.
A supervisor at Dunford told me that they had made the bread better - whatever. To me it now tastes like all those other cheap generic breads.
I am trying to contact the Franz CEO, Bob Alders, to get the recipe changed back. They seem like decent people there and I bet they would listen. Please help me by contacting the Franz bread company and ask them to change it back.
