My new favorite Mexican Cafe. The exterior is not much to look at but the food is great. My favorite dish is carne guisada (the perfect breakfast taco) followed by their juicy, delicious hamburgers (go figure). But most of all is the friendly, glad to see you again, attitude from the staff.

Dont let the shabby building scare you away and get there by 11:30 am if you want a seat. Just order the Mexican Plate. It is the real deal.
The name of the waitress who looks like she runs the place is Maribel (Mary Bell and she is the owner's daughter so she kind of does run the place). She is a sweetheart, but they get CROWDED so just have a little patience.
This is not tourist food, it is where the locals go. You'll find folks in white collar suits sitting at a table next to folks in blue collar uniforms.
