My husband and I went to lunch today at Theresa's Steakhouse. The dining room is beautiful and the service was excellent. We decided to split the hamburger with a choice of fries or salad. We ordered the meat medium rare with the side salad. The split was done for us in the kitchen and the wait time was short. However, the bun was so thick it was difficult to bite into the burger. My husband gave up and ate his burger with a fork and knife. We were disappointed because the meat had been overcooked and so was not juicy. The side salad was a small version of their field of greens which looked great but was very difficult to eat because of the large uncut pieces of a variety of greens. Even after I emptied the salad onto the lunch plate and cut it into small pieces, it was still difficult to eat and the Italian dressing did not have enough flavor. This place is so special, it's really a shame the lunch menu is limited and the food is not up to par with everything else.
