Tucked away at the back of New India Bazaar, there's a charming little Indian veggie restaurant that offers an unbeatable daily special for just $4.49, consisting of rice, two entrees, and Indian pancakes. The variety of vegetarian dishes available is impressive, and the flavors are perfectly balanced without being overly spicy-just the way I like it. Whenever I attend potlucks, friends always request I bring their fantastic samosas, which are undoubtedly the best I've found in the Bay Area.
