I have been going to Alicia's for many years and
have thought the cooking very good. Today I visited Alicia and tried their MENUDO. I was not disappointed. The broth was very tasty and thick
with pig foot geletin. I detected a little sweetness
in the broth from cooking. For my taste that is a
'no no', but others might like it. I prefer to add raw
onions at the table to avoid the sweetness with the
the hot and spicy. I detect the menudo had been
stored for some time and the meat had lost its texture, but quite good despite. They serve
MENUDO 7 days a week and it's hard to find
MENUDO on weekdays. I rate their menudo about
an 8 on a scale of 1-10.
I recommend it. The paitio is great too.
