Our server, Amber, provided exceptional southern hospitality during our visit to the restaurant. She suggested trying the brisket sandwich and the chicken spring rolls, both of which were delicious. Additionally, we ordered the Buford T Diablo sando, which was bursting with flavor. The patio seating offered a pleasant dining experience, and the addition of pickled red onions to my brisket sandwich elevated the dish even further.

Visited this highly recommended place on Saturday 12/21/19 around 7:30pm to hang out and catch up with old friends. At 8pm our waitress told us it would be last call and we witnessed the staff rush the other patrons and turn away about 5 new customers. We asked what time they closed and they said 10pm, but that since it was so slow they were closing now. The bar was more than half full and there were a few other tables of customers at this time as well. A couple of people in my party did not even finish our drinks because the staff rushed us out by blaring the music and then turning it completely off. We also saw the staff point at us repeatedly and when they thought we had left (we used the restroom on the way out at 9pm) they loudly discussed their tips and complained about us. I was very disappointed with the service on this particular night and hope management is aware of how the staff acted.

Their BBQ is OK - good but nothing exceptional & is pretty pricey for what you get. My problem with this place is that they refuse to cook onion rings before 2pm, REALLY?!?!?! Why is it folks can't get onion rings with their lunch?? I think their hot dogs are the absolute best going, but I doubt I'll eat here again until I can also get onion rings with my lunch (BTW, their onion rings are wonderful).

First time at the Side Bar last night. Ordered the Sumter burger and fries. THE ABSOLUTE BEST HAMBURGER I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!! The food was wonderful, the service was great. This is the place I will bring guests when they come to visit me. What a great place..... I can't stop thinking about that delicious hamburger.....
