The food was delicious; the staff was friendly; the service was timely. Their soups in the winter can be fantastic!

Where shouuld i start?!? On May 6th my family and I discovered this tiny restaruant through some well known friends of ours. They told us the food was good and that it was a family oriented place to eat. WHAT A LIE!!!! We sat down and waited a good ten minuted before a waitress even came around to get our drink order. Then we sat there another five minutes before we even got our drinks. I ordered tea, which happened to taste bitter and rotten. My husband ordered a coffee and a water, which was cold, old, and the cup still had a lipstick smudge on it from the previous coffee drinker. We got different drinks and excused that from our experiance, and began to order our food. The server was slow, seemed not so clean, and it was the worst service we had in a while. The food was cold.... the meat and veggies we ate tasted like they had sat out all day and it wasnt even warm to the slightest.... The food was already dissatisfying when a cochroach decided he/she was wanting a piece of bread. That was when we all had enough and left our plates untouched and got up and walked to the counter. There was a big man behind the counter who i assume was the owner, we explained to him how our experiance was like so far, and he just looked at us and sat on the stool behind the counter spitting tobacco in a cup and told us that he was sorry, but still proceeded to spit and charge us for every penny. My family and I never ask for anything free, so charging us for what we ordered was okay. Im just one person that looks for cleanliness and that was just one place that i didnt find it. My family and my friends will not ever go back.... People should know what they are eating!!!!
