The service at Buddy's Bar B Que always impresses me, and the food is delicious and budget-friendly. The pulled pork dinner is a standout, and I appreciate the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Every visit feels special, especially when I can enjoy their tasty hush puppies and a refreshing milkshake.

I went inside and order 2 lbs of pork, large potato salad, large slaw and a large sweet tea to go. The girl gave me the order in 2 bags. The tea was handed to me. I specifically asked her for a box to make it carry easier. SHE SAID "NO". I asked her why and I was told it was for bigger carry out orders. I asked her if there was a price limit because I just dropped over 30.00 dollars on my order. She said, no. First of all, I can't believe Buddy's is going to go bankrupt over a carry box. Second of all, I use Buddy's for catering quite frequently...maybe I need to bring my own totes. Third, I can't believe anyone is so stupid to refuse a carry box with bags hanging off their arm. When I got to my car, I dropped the tea in my seat which made me livid. I was ready to bring the food back inside and throw it on their floor...specifically targeting the young stupid worker who would not give me a box. Needless to say, I haven't returned to Buddy's in Kingston. I wish I remembered her name.

We dropped in for an impromptu lunch on our way to Knoxville.
We had other business off of that exit and I saw the sign for 'Buddy's bbq' and my mouth watered for that fine, southern cuisine.
My husband and I both enjoyed our pork & chicken sandwiches, fries, coleslaw, and true south sweet tea!
We will not be strangers to this gem anymore since we found it.
Great service with a smile.
