We had an incredible experience with Uptown. After a wonderful meal (truly the best catfish we had ever eaten) my fiancí© left his satchel with wallet, etc in it. Panic! He discovered the loss several hours after Uptpwn had closed. We live in Memphis so I called the Covington police to see if they could find the owner of Uptown.....they did, and called them. The owner's daughter who had served us went back that night to search for the satchel and contacted us. She was.absolutely amazing!!!! Food, service, and kindness are far more than top notch. Why did I call the police? Living in Memphis, a very large town where this would never have worked, I figured in a small town that everyone most likely knew everyone else or where to find them through contacts. So many, many, many thanks go out to Uptown and the Covington PD. .
