I finally stepped outside my usual chicken strips and went with the three-piece fried catfish meal, which was pretty good with its cornmeal batter and crispy strips-plus, they threw in an extra piece, so that was a win. The tartar sauce was a bit too tart and watery for me, so I stuck with hot sauce, but those rolls reminded me of my great Aunt's yeast rolls, just a little sweeter than I expected; fries were super greasy and the sweet tea was way too sweet, but I'll definitely be back for my favorite chicken strips and potato salad.

I recently tried the fried catfish meal and found the taste to be exceptional after avoiding sugar and salt. The fish was delicious with a crispy cornmeal batter and the rolls reminded me of my great Aunt's from Mississippi, although a bit too sweet for my liking. The fries were a bit oily and the sweet tea was overly sweet, but I will definitely return for the chicken strips and potato salad that I have always enjoyed.
