Stopped in for a quick lunch as I had an appointment in the plaza and I must say that I was pleasently surprised. I ordered their soup and deli sandwich special off of their lunch special menu and I found the quality and portion size of their corned beef to be excellent. The price was on the low end and came out to about $10. The waitress was prompt and friendly and there appeared to be a lot of regulars. The elderly couple at the next table had asked me how I enjoyed my lunch and they had said that they had been regulars for over 20 years! I am not in Thornhill too often but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steeles Deli to my family and friends.

wish i could put half star. only reason they deserve that is cause the servers are kind. thats about it

grimy black stuff in the grout on the floor. gross. saw a rat run by my table, big round table. it ran across the wall, and under the fridge right by the entrance.

i ordered roast beef. tasted, off. their idea of medium, was so much fat, with the 2 smallest pieces of bread. then they wanted to charge for extra bread? 8 ounces of meat, 2 tiny slices of bread. a steeles deli balanced diet!
