Really disappointed because our busy summer resort village needs a great restaurant. But this place failed dismally as compared to the two iconic operators at that location over the decades. Their sauce is nothing more that pure tomato paste out of a can, no real seasoning or special flavors. Pasta and Eggplant over cooked to the point of being just mush. They cut the spaghetti into 3" pieces?? We had 8 small slices of 3/8" thin hard bread, they charged $13.95 for. They called a table a large group because we had 4 adults and two kids, and added a 20% service charge. All in all a pasta meal for four adults, a pizza two kids shared, and wine for four cost $460.00. For that kind of money I am expecting surf and turf, not macaroni. Be ware.
