Great food at a great price.
02/13/2013 - Usually fast, and tasty... but a bit pricey
Let's be realistic, Mexican food is cheap to make... the prices at El Potosino are just a tad bit too high in my opinion. I'm not saying they need to be Taco Bell cheap, because then the food would be awful, but I like El Potosino because they are fast enough for me to eat there on my lunch break, and their carnitas burritos are fantastic!

Without a doubt the best Mexican-American food I have ever eaten. I have been there well over 100 times and can honestly say not once has been a negative experience. Menu is great and prices are even better. I usually get the Carne Asada or Texas burrito and the hard tacos but assure you anything you get is delicious. I have also seen them fix items not on the menu but have been asked for by the client. Any mistakes are happily fixed if asked. Also their green salsa is worth dying for! Awesome food at an awesome price! Think I'll go there now.

I totally agree with many of the other reviewers.
The cashier (Senora Bling) has always been rude,
but she really showed how mean she can be. I
had a drink from a Circle K and ordered some food.
She asked me if I wanted a drink. I said NO. She
went ahead and charged me an extra 2 bucks!
I used to be a regular there. They won't get a chance
to rip me off any more.
Hasta La Vista baby!

Newstore: Speedway and Pantano.
I ordered a Machacha Burrito for lunch, worst Burrito I have ever had. Contained scramled eggs (???), raw onions and the meat looked like ??? My friend ordered a Taco plate and both of us got sick later. Our comment- "That place will never make it, should be gone in less than 3 months". That place would do the public a favor and fail.

EXCELLENT BREAKFAST BURRITOS.. NOT FILLED WITH POTATOES LIKE ALL THOSE OTHER PLACES(VIVA, NICOS, ETC..).

Went to the new one on east speedway 8000 block. Great prices. Huge burrito. Lots of meat, pico and guacamole. Great price for a carne asada burrito it is $4.44. Will go again. Nice and clean place.

Just opened at Speedway and Pantano. Pre prepared taco shells exploded with the first bite. The second one had absorbed all the juice from the chicken and was a soggy, disintegrating mass. Refried beans out of the can. Tasteless rice. Food preparer with long hair and no hair net.

5 rolled tacos are normally great but as always they have to mess it up sum how every time I go there. Was enjoying the five tacos when I bit into one it had a tooth pic inside!!! Did call the heath department finally their investigation led to them telling me that they use wooden tooth pics to prepare there orders but had must have forgotten to take one out. Well, lucky for them I didn't bite down hard and chip a tooth.
