I have tried this restaurant many times over the years. The only thing I have found to be consistently good was the Shrimp Saute on the appetizer menu. I live so close and would love to go there at least once a week if only the food was good but it simply isn't. I used to go to Scordatto's on Bdwy and Country Club which I absolutely loved and was told they had the same chef but the owner is the chef and he was one of the waiters.

Absolutely the best Italian food in Alexandria, LA and probably the best restraunt in town. Coming from New Orleans, Verona is as good as anything in New Orleans. And the price, was very reasonable. The service was personable and efficient. I am recommending Verona to everyone.
