It's a home style restaurant. The other reviewer called the older man creepy. I think he is FUN....real....spontaneous....and he makes the place charming. In my opinion it's much more fun than going to a chain with a manager who has a fake smile and wait staff with no personality.

As for the food my teenage daughters love it. Tons of salad choices...HOMEMADE Bread....deserts. The soups change daily so they are not "old". They make everything fresh.

If the other reviewers kids were freaked out they should take them out more ofter around real people. Life is too short to be serious all of the time. Kids should have fun. The man was just trying to brighten their day. Give him a break. :) Relax and have fun, your kids will be happier and you will too.

We found it a good value and will go back often to see the nice couple who always put a smile on our faces!
