The food was delicious, and I appreciated the generous portion sizes. Despite the casual pub setting and service, the overall experience was enjoyable and satisfying. I would consider returning to this chic gem in North Vancouver for another meal.

My wife and I ordered a take out of 2 Fish and Chips. Online menu price was $16 per order plus taxes. Upon picking up the order we paid with a $25 gift card which had been provided by the manager as a result of a very poorly cooked previous order, plus $15. So, a total of $40 for a take out supposedly costing $36 maximum.
We were advised that the actual cost was $44 and the explanation was the restaurant had raised their prices about 5 months previously. We complained but paid the bill, sans tip, by giving the server a $20 bill for a total of $60 before change. When the change was given we initially received $1 even though the server had the additional $15 change in her other hand.
Legitimate error? Possible.
