After 3 years, I've noticed improvements in the service at this restaurant, though the food can be inconsistent depending on the day. The overall experience is decent for the price point of around $20 after tax and tip. I walk by this establishment regularly and added it to my list on February 27th. The atmosphere is simple and blends in with the hotel surroundings, offering a quiet corner for contemplation. The open face steak sandwich and orange cream brulee were satisfying, with the creme brulee's thick crust adding a unique touch. The initial service was a bit slow, but the friendly waitress made up for it. The place is suitable for work gatherings, accommodating large groups with buffet-style dining for convenience. The restaurant's location within a hotel provides a bustling ambiance, with no issues reported regarding hidden preservatives. The wings were well-cooked, large, and flavorful, while the nachos were generously layered. Despite my reservations, the beer specials offered excellent value at $5.50 for a pint. The establishment is within a Holiday Inn, making it a convenient spot for post-league game hangouts. Special promotions like Dine Out Vancouver provide an opportunity to enjoy quality food at reasonable prices. The crab cake with wasabi mayo, salmon with shrimp sauce, and authentic cheesecake were highlights of the dining experience. The attentive server ensured our satisfaction, contributing to a pleasant evening.
