Growing up in Maillardville, we used to swing by Lucky Gate as a special treat when my family wanted a taste of traditional Northern Chinese dishes. The noodle-making process was always fascinating to watch through the huge window, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home, even if the service could be a bit slow at times.
