There's this quirky little spot in Abbotsford that's closing soon, and Vern, the owner, is quite the character. His food is truly homemade and the green pea with ham soup is a must-try. Don't mind Vern's abruptness, it's all part of the experience. Just go, enjoy the food, and maybe catch one of his impromptu jams.
