The aroma of pizza drew my attention, leading me to order a single slice combo from a walk-up window just before catching my Amtrak train. The outdoor seating area was charming, complete with Adirondack chairs and lawn games, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and groups. The service was friendly, and the pizza was deliciously hot and fulfilling, making it a memorable stop on my trip to Ventura.

I tried Tony's 30 years ago when WE moved to Ventura, about 4 blocks from Tony's. I have been making Pizza since I was 13 (I'm 75 now) and found Tony's tomato sauce to be Tomato Soup (very little at that) and nearly lacking of cheese. I have not been back. Obviously I have been rediscent to try again.
